Take Advantage of “Active Rest” for Faster Workout Recovery

The first is passive rest – the “do nothing” approach, in which you take time off to relax, and avoid anything that resembles training. Active rest, by contrast, is a technique aimed at helping you recover by by going through the motions of your workout, but at reduced intensity or volume.
