The proceeds of the profits on the night will be donated to the £1m Merlin’s Apprentice fund, which aims to change the lives of 50 young adults through the Apprentice programme.

Developed in partnership with The Prince’s Trust it provides provide year-long, fully paid work experience to young adults aged between 18 and 24 who are not in education, employment or training and are from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The programme aims to equip individuals with the tools and experience they need to successfully enter a career within marketing and so ensures talent diversity in the marketing industries across the UK.

Sherilyn Shackell, founder of The Marketing Academy, says: “Since we launched The Marketing Academy in 2010 we’ve been developing the careers of talented marketers and so we wanted to celebrate our fifth birthday by doing something that would develop the talent in industry even further.”
